Full dress gray over white, the resplendent cadet parade uniform, is derived from the uniform worn by the American infantry in the early 1800s. The cadet full dress hat with its plume is affectionately called a "tarbucket." The red sash and saber are colorful components of the parade uniform of a cadet officer. Stitch the front as shown above. Stitch the back with patterns provided for the company guidon, class year, and cadet name. Sew the parts together and slip over a standard-sized brick (not included) to keep your favorite door open or closed.
